Un proverbio chino dice: ‘Un médico pobre cura; Un buen médico previene ". Peor aún es un médico que solo se enfoca en los síntomas; como gran parte de nuestro sistema de atención médica hoy. La iridología toma esto en serio. Todos los medicamentos anhelan prevenir una enfermedad o trastorno que ocurra, cualquier tipo de médico estaría de acuerdo en que es más fácil y más rentable para cortar la enfermedad en el brote.

La iridología es ideal para la prevención en el verdadero sentido. Todos tenemos debilidades genéticas de algún tipo u otro, si fuéramos perfectos, seríamos súper superas, no humanos. El hábil iridólogo identifica órganos o glándulas inherentemente debilitadas que aún no pueden producir notablemente síntomas o incluso molestias. Por el contrario, una persona puede nunca fumar, pero desarrollar cáncer de pulmón si tiene un marcador de pulmón genético.
