Podporuje iridológia zmeny farieb?
Keď sa pozriem späť, je pre mňa úžasné, že som si myslel, že iridológia má vedecky šancu. Keď som sa pozrel na základnú anatómiu oka a nervového systému, vedel som, že štrukturálne zmeny nie je možné urobiť, ale čo farba? Možno sa dúhovka sama štrukturálne nezmenila, ale možno by bolo možné vedecky podporiť farebné zmeny. Vedel som, ako bolo uvedené vyššie, že bez špeciálneho vybavenia by bolo ťažké dokázať alebo vyvrátiť zmysluplné farebné zmeny v dúhovke. Otázkou bolo, či niekto urobil takéto pozorovanie a či sa zistilo, že to niečo znamená. Aby sme pochopili akékoľvek pozorovania zmeny farby dúhovky, musíme pochopiť proces vývoja farby v očnej dúhovke. Základná farba dúhovky je tvorená veľmi tmavými pigmentovanými bunkami, ktoré sú na spodnej strane dúhovky a ktoré odrážajú spätné vizuálne modré svetlo, čím vytvárajú vzhľad modrého oka. U albínov nedostatok pigmentu umožňuje, aby sa svetlo odrážalo od krvných ciev a vytváralo ružový odraz. Je to hladina pigmentu v horných (vonkajších) úrovniach dúhovky, ktorá dáva variáciu farieb očí od modrozelenej po tmavohnedú. Tak ako gény ovplyvňujú úroveň pigmentácie kože, tak gény ovplyvňujú farbu očí a štruktúru dúhovky. Ako mladého študenta iridológie som sa naučil, že rôzne farby v dúhovke sú usadeniny chemikálií.
Napríklad hrdzavá škvrna v dúhovke bola malá škvrna vstreknutej chemikálie z vakcíny alebo žiarivo žltá škvrna bola výsledkom usadeniny síry v oku z požitia sulfátového lieku. Faktom je, že tieto škvrny sú zbierkami melanínu; podobne ako látka, ktorá spôsobuje pehy na koži. Významní iridológovia vo svojich prácach napísali, že pri pitvách sa zistilo, že tieto škvrny obsahujú kovy a iné látky. Ak neboli kovy alebo iné látky vstreknuté priamo do dúhovky, nemôže to byť pravda. Na základe skutočnosti, že iridológia neodráža skutočnú anatómiu, fyziológiu alebo histológiu dúhovky, a na základe skutočnosti, že farby dúhovky nie sú určené nervovým vstupom, sa mi stalo smiešnym veriť, že farba dúhovky je akýmkoľvek znakom zdravia vo vzdialených orgánoch. Niektorí iridológovia naznačujú, že farba očí a štruktúra vlákien sú nemenné a sú užitočné na označenie určitej predispozície k duševným a fyzickým poruchám. Títo iridológovia opäť používajú zovšeobecnenia a iné zbytočné metódy, aby opísali užitočnosť svojej metódy. Bohužiaľ zlyhávajú vo svojich pokusoch správne používať logiku a vedu.

Čo je iridológia?

Iridology, is it nonsense?
Some opponents of iridology have stated that Iridology is “non-sense” but is this really the case?
First of all let’s look at the facts, most of these critics have absolutely no education or formal training in the science of Iridology yet they have a negative opinion.
They cite several poorly designed Iridology studies that have been reported in Western scientific medical journals. These studies based their evaluations on outdated principles and in many cases, employed Iridologists who had insufficient or outdated training.
Iridology, like most sciences, is constantly evolving, as new information and studies become available this does not however mean that Iridology is invalid.
The adverse effects from these negative research studies have been very destructive to the science and practice of Iridology, especially in the United States. Researchers often find these negative studies as the only sources of information on which to base their opinions.
Often times some of the same critics that claim Iridology is “non-sense” are the ones who are still debating whether or not the use of, Herbs, Chiropractic, and Acupuncture are valid forms of health care.
Meanwhile in countries such as Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and many Asian countries, have a much greater acceptance of Iridology. In fact, the Russian Government has sponsored Iridology research and has found it to be extraordinarily accurate. Many Medical Doctor’s in these countries have been using Iridology in their practice for decades.
Those who have studied the science and given it an open and unprejudiced consideration have discovered an amazingly useful, non-invasive, analytical tool.
It is of the utmost importance that a person uses good judgment when selecting an Iridologist. They must be sure that their Iridologist is properly trained with the most up to date information by an established and reputable institution.
Used correctly, iridology gives the individual, information concerning their overall health level that is not available in any other way. An iridologist’s services are an important element in a total, holistic health care program.
