Chapter 6 The Major Iris Signs and Markings – 6.4 Concentric Circles

Concentric circular furrows found in the ciliary body. These markings suggest an inherent tendency toward spasms and contractions, and are associated with cardiac neurosis, anxiety, panic episodes, and sleep disturbances. These rings traverse broad sections of the iris, with their points of origin and termination highlighting the primary organs involved.

An increased number of rings corresponds to a heightened susceptibility to spasms and contractions. When these rings appear tightly clustered or extend across the entire circumference of the iris, it is regarded as an indicator of aggravated condition.
